What You Will Do
The role of the Sales Consultant focuses on selling solutions to drive installation (OV) and service growth (AMR) revenues within the Tyco Regional Accounts Channel. The role involves proactive planning, developing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and understanding technical specifications to prepare costs, specifications, and quotations. Salesforce.com is used to manage all activities.
How You Will Do It
* Lead Management: Generate and qualify leads, collaborate across channels.
* Account/Territory Planning: Identify growth opportunities and define account plans.
* Opportunity Planning: Identify and qualify opportunities, form bid teams.
* Survey, Configure, Price, Quote: Survey sites, prepare proposals.
* AMR: Pursue opportunities, expand contracts, and retain customers.
* Presentations: Conduct technical and bid presentations.
* Opportunity Management: Manage sales pipeline proactively.
* Sales & Negotiation Skills: Develop through coaching.
* Salesforce.com: Use as primary CRM tool for all sales activities.
* Performance: Prepare monthly success plans and review performance.
* Product / Technical Knowledge: Maintain and develop expertise.
* Risk Management: Adhere to internal processes, legal, and safety policies.
What We Look For
Experience in creating new accounts, managing opportunities, and working with sales teams. Knowledge of Fire Suppression solutions is preferred.
