Trust Doctor (ST1-2 equivalent) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

We are looking for a Trust Doctor (ST1-2 equivalent) with competencies equivalent to ST1 level in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, to join our dynamic team of Specialty Trainees. The post holder will be one of the trust doctors in the department and work on the F2-ST2 rota with daytime and resident on-call commitments. This post is ideal for those undertaking an F3 year who wish to develop their experience of O&G.
Main duties of the job
GMC Registration is an essential requirement for this post.
* Keep patients (and/or their carers if appropriate) informed about their condition
* Involve patients (and/or carers if appropriate) in decision making about their treatment
* Maintain professional standards and obligations as set out from time to time by the General Medical Council (GMC) and comply in particular with the GMC's guidance on 'Good Medical Practice' as amended or substituted from time to time.

We are a district general hospital O&G department with over 5000 deliveries per year, a busy acute gynae service and elective gynaecology. We aim to provide a high quality service for our patients in line with the Trust philosophy of delivering patient care that is Safe, Caring, Responsible and Valued.

Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent
* Full Registration with GMC with licence to practice
* MRCOG Part 1
Experience
* Completed F2 posts
* Previous experience in Obs and Gynae
* NHS Experience
* Completed ST1 post
