Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Primary School Teachers to work within specialist provisions in the Southampton area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs.
The Role:
You will be teaching primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include:
* Autism (ASC)
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
* Speech, Language and Communication Needs
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual education plans (EHCPs), supporting pupils’ academic progress, social development and emotional wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Have experience working within an SEN or specialist primary setting
* Be confident adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management and nurturing skills
* Be patient, creative and committed to inclusive education
Essential Requirements:
* Current QTS
* Enhanced Child Only DBS registered on the Update Service
* Right to work in the UK
* Recent, relevant teaching experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
