About the Role
Supply Bank is currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified Primary School Teachers to take on flexible teaching roles in Macclesfield and surrounding areas. These short-term placements are ideal for teachers looking for variety, a better work-life balance, or the opportunity to gain experience across different school environments — all while being paid in line with your teacher pay scale.
As a supply teacher, you’ll step into classrooms to provide essential cover, deliver high-quality lessons, and maintain a positive learning environment during teacher absences.
Key Responsibilities
Teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2 — tailored to your experience and interests
Deliver engaging lessons that follow school curriculum and planning
Foster a safe, inclusive, and well-structured classroom setting
Work effectively with support staff to meet pupil needs
Adapt quickly to new school environments and policies
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Recent classroom experience in UK primary settings
Strong classroom management and adaptability
A professional, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
Confident communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
