QA Manager
We are partnering with an international, advanced pharmaceutical and medical device business that is investing seriously into expanding quality and operational activities across various sites within the UK. This brand new appointment is for one of their facilities in Manchester.
Overview
As QA Head for the site, you will manage a small team and remain fully hands‑on in all areas of quality, including systems oversight, operational delivery and validation activities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coach a small team through hands‑on coaching, mentoring and training.
* Oversee the QMS and related quality processes.
* Deliver operational quality activities and manage validation programmes.
* Conduct internal audits and lead external audit activities.
* Ensure compliance with GMP and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* Experienced in a QA capacity within a GMP environment.
* Experience working in a sterile/aseptic or terminally sterile setting is helpful but not essential.
* Strong leadership and management experience.
* Hands‑on experience of a range of quality activities, especially in relation to QMS oversight.
* Auditing experience; lead auditor experience is an advantage.
* Knowledge and experience of validation activities.
