This is an exciting opportunity to join the Central and North West Midlands (C&NWM) Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC), hosted by Birmimgham Women's and Children's Hospital.
As an integral member of the team, you’ll provide the core administrative function for the CRDC and support the Programme Manager with other relevant research programmes. You’ll be joining a solutions‑focussed team member that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about providing a high quality service.
This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and working both independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to research that benefits patients and communities across the West Midlands — while developing your skills within an innovative team and NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will provide a high‑quality administrative service, providing facilitation and coordination across the programme, including diary management, meeting secretariat, event management and using a variety of systems and processes to support the efficient running of the programme(s). Your expertise will contribute to an efficient and innovative service.
This role requires prior administrative experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. You will have developed good IT skills across a variety of packages, be able to demonstrate initiative in refining procedures, and work with a high degree of autonomy.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in their work, values precision and teamwork and is motivated by contributing to research that drives better health outcomes.
