Quantity Surveyor | Residential Developer
London
We are currently working with a well-established residential developer seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of high-rise residential developments in London.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key commercial responsibilities across major residential schemes, working closely with Technical and Commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully from procurement through to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing subcontractor procurement including tender preparation, analysis and negotiation
* Preparing and issuing subcontractor packages, contracts and orders in line with JCT forms
* Managing subcontractor valuations, variations, change control and payment processes
* Monitoring project costs, budgets and preparing cost reports, CVRs and forecasts
* Supporting commercial management across high-rise residential / RC frame developments
* Assisting with value engineering, cost control and risk management initiatives
* Maintaining accurate commercial documentation, cost plans and reporting
* Supporting agreement of final accounts, variations and subcontractor accounts
Requirements:
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor
* Experience on high-rise residential or RC frame developments
* Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement, tendering and commercial management
* Experience managing valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts
* Strong financial, cost reporting, budgeting and forecasting skills
* Working knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes
* Ability to work collaboratively within project and site teams
Package:
* Salary up to £60,000
* Car Allowance £6,000
* 10% Annual Bonus and additional non-contractual bonus
