We will be looking for a candidate who will work as part of the Finance team and will:
Responsibilities
* Prepare and distribute weekly and month‑end New Business and Loan Book reports.
* Liaise with lending system related queries received by the Finance team and provide support to branch ALFA users.
* Assist the Finance Manager in daily and periodic finance data integrity tests by executing reports, handling correspondence with stakeholders and maintaining logs of outstanding problems.
* Provide ongoing back up to the Finance Manager and the Ops Finance team.
* Actively support the Company’s Vision & Values and ensure it is promoted within the team.
* Provide lending system ALFA subject matter expertise to branches and the wider finance team when needed.
* Ensure that all Governance and Compliance needs are adhered to and that all reporting and reviewing activities required by regulatory bodies are carried out to the required standards.
We would love to hear from you if you have/are:
* Experience working with finance computer systems.
* Confidence with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and look‑ups are a must).
* Understanding of accounting concepts and routine gained from higher education, professional qualification or on‑the‑job learning.
It is not essential but it would be great if you have/are:
* Experience working with ALFA, SAP or Power BI.
