Smart Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Teesside area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals who want to make a positive impact in the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensuring continuity of learning
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting students with learning tasks and engagement
Reporting any issues or feedback to teaching staff or senior leaders
Promoting a safe, positive, and focused learning environment
Who We’re Looking For:
Degree or higher qualification in a specialist subject
Minimum of 6 months’ UK experience in a school or education setting – essential
Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A professional, positive, and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce), or willingness to apply
