Are you a natural organiser with a passion for delivering high-quality events that make a real difference? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and want to play a vital role in supporting thousands of individuals across the Jewish community?
At Jewish Care, we’re seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Events Lead to join our talented Fundraising & Events team. You’ll be at the heart of a busy events calendar, helping to raise over £1.6 million annually through 30+ inspiring events that engage more than 10,000 supporters.
This is your opportunity to use your creativity, coordination skills, and relationship-building abilities to lead and deliver some of our most impactful and memorable events.
This post is working Monday to Friday on a full time contract and is fixed term for 18 months.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead the planning, administration and smooth delivery of key fundraising events from start to finish.
* Support event committees and chairs—many of whom are among our most loyal and passionate supporters.
* Coordinate marketing materials, communications, and event branding in collaboration with internal teams.
* Ensure event budgets are carefully managed, and income targets are met.
* Handle post-event follow-up and donation collection to maximise fundraising success.
* Pitch in across the Events team to support on larger projects and flagship events.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven event management experience, juggling multiple projects with confidence.
* Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships—especially with senior volunteers.
* A creative thinker who’s hands-on, detail-oriented and ready to take the lead.
* Strong administrative skills, including working with databases and managing budgets.
* A flexible team player willing to attend events outside normal working hours.
* A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine commitment to our values and mission.
Desirable extras:
* Knowledge of fundraising or corporate events in a charity or income-generating context.
* Familiarity with the Jewish community, particularly in London and the South East.
* Experience managing budgets and working within a confidential or sensitive environment.
