Family Engagement Officer
Job description
Contract -15 hours per week/ 39 weeks per year. Temporary until 31st March 2027
To commence 1st September 2026 (or sooner)
The Governing Body, staff, and pupils seek to appoint an enthusiastic, committed family engagement officer who can support our families and pupils.
As our Family Engagement Officer, you will:
1. Develop positive and supportive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
2. Actively engage families in school life and learning
3. Support initiatives that encourage parental involvement and community participation
4. Promote and market the school, helping to showcase the excellent opportunities we provide
5. Use creative approaches to advertise the school and attract new families
6. Work collaboratively with staff to enhance pupil wellbeing and engagement
7. Contribute to building a welcoming, inclusive, and thriving school community
