Responsibilities
As a Service Desk Analyst, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, so excellent communication skills and a personable manner are essential. If you’ve worked in any customer‑facing role, whether in retail, hospitality, or call centres, you already have valuable experience that we would love to see. The Service Desk team can be the first step to starting your career at PA. We provide on‑the‑job training to resolve common queries and how to seek advice on escalating more serious issues. We have a great support network within the department and encourage colleagues to lean on each other. Typically, within the first two years our team members find the specialism they love and move into other areas of the department, with some moving into consulting.

Additional Information
Applicants should be available to work in varying shift patterns covering hours between 07:00 and 19:00 (GMT) as well as a weekend shift, working on a rotation every eight weeks. Some UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance and a Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK for higher levels of National Security Vetting. If you are unsure about eligibility, review UK Government guidance on security vetting.
