We are seeking a BTEC Tutor to deliver BTEC Engineering training to apprentices at our state-of-the-art training hub in Aston.
Responsibilities
* Teach a range of Level 2-4 engineering qualifications to apprentices, with expertise in supporting apprentices on Level 3 BTEC engineering projects.
* Support apprentices within our Lean Academy to acquire new skills across Levels 2 and 3 in preparation for EPA.
* Manage and oversee the progress and achievement of apprentices' Engineering Projects.
* Collaborate effectively with external delivery team members and employer partners.
* Develop course materials such as handouts and reference materials.
* Deliver training that meets all Awarding Body and Centre standards.
* Create a motivating learning environment to facilitate skill and knowledge acquisition.
* Assess learner progress using various methods, providing feedback and progress reports.
* Ensure health and safety compliance for learners and staff.
Requirements
* Relevant Level 4 (or higher) subject qualification; Level 3 or higher teacher training qualification preferred.
* Empathy for young learners, with skills in planning, delivering, and assessing training outcomes.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, literate and numerate.
* Ability to motivate learners and command respect.
