Management Accountant
Location: Harrogate (Office-Based)
We are currently recruiting for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing and dynamic finance team based in Harrogate. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role:
As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, taking ownership of key processes and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Supporting month-end close including journals, accruals, and prepayments
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Variance analysis and commentary
* Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
* Supporting audit processes and year-end reporting
* Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight
* Identifying and implementing process improvements
About You:
* Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar management accounts role
* Strong Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups)
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
* Proactive, organised, and keen to progress
