Lead Clinician – Orchard Manor School (Norfolk)
Job Title: Lead Clinician
Location: Orchard Manor School – Norfolk, PE34 3HT
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 FTE (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon‑Fri
Contract: Permanent (52 weeks, flexibility around term‑time possible)
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the in‑house Clinical Team at Orchard Manor School.
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and the Regional Clinical Lead.
* Provide clinical leadership and hold a therapy caseload.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma and SEMH needs.
* Meet the needs of EHCP plans, target‑led via OFG all, group and individual clinical ways of working.
* Lead line management of onsite clinical team members and develop the school‑based service alongside SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Maintain a person‑centred, empowering approach and uphold safeguarding culture.
Essential Criteria
* Degree qualification in a specific discipline and experience in leadership and management.
* Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body.
* Valid and up to date professional registration & membership of a professional body (e.g. BPS).
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred.
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
