Are you an experienced Electrical Manager with a strong background in healthcare facilities maintenance? A leading FM Service Provider is seeking an Electrical Manager to oversee electrical operations at a busy NHS hospital site. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of electrical engineers to ensure delivery of high standards across the estate.
Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs and servicing.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, NHS requirements and Health & Safety regulations.
Carry out inspections, audits, and ensure all statutory and legislative requirements are met.
Act as the lead on electrical issues, including High Voltage (HV) works authorisation and isolation knowledge essential.
Liaise with hospital staff, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure smooth service delivery.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.
Provide reports, updates and performance data to senior management.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Engineering.
Strong knowledge and experience with High Voltage (HV) systems.
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within FM or building services.
Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of compliance and health & safety regulations.
