Perinatal Psychological Therapist

Permanent part‑time 22.5 hours per week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Psychological Practitioner (Psychologist, Adult Psychotherapist, Arts Psychotherapist or CBT Therapist) to join our well‑established multidisciplinary team in the Perinatal Mental Health Service.
Responsibilities
* Promote the psychological health and well‑being of women within the perinatal service and provide specialist advice and guidance to other staff.
* Deliver high‑quality evidence‑based psychological treatments to women with complex comorbidity; tailor programmes addressing severe depression, anxiety, perinatal OCD, bipolar disorder, personality disorder and psychosis.
* Provide direct treatment to vulnerable women, and consultation, guidance and training to non‑psychological staff.
* Support the wider health and social care environment in raising awareness of perinatal mental health issues.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, facilitating integration of a psychological perspective into clinical understanding.
* Utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development.
* May act as lead health care professional if appropriate.
