The Housekeeping Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that all guest accommodation and housekeeping areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The role involves preparing holiday lodges, caravans, and facilities to create a welcoming environment for guests and contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

Working as part of the housekeeping team, the Housekeeping Assistant ensures accommodation is prepared efficiently and safely during guest changeovers while maintaining company standards.



Key Responsibilities

Accommodation Cleaning

Clean and prepare lodges, caravans, and accommodation units ready for guest arrivals

Change bed linen and make beds to company standards

Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas thoroughly

Vacuum, dust, mop floors, and clean surfaces

Ensure all rooms are presented to a high standard before guest check-in

Guest Experience

Ensure accommodation is welcoming and presentable for arriving guests

Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management

Maintain cleanliness in communal areas where required



Team Support

Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members during changeover days

Support supervisors with preparing accommodation within allocated timeframes

Follow company cleaning checklists and procedures

Health & Safety

Use cleaning products and equipment safely and in accordance with training

Maintain safe storage of cleaning materials

Follow all health and safety policies and procedures

About The Role

Weekend and bank holiday availability may be required depending on park occupancy.

Working Environment / Physical Requirements

Work is carried out across accommodation units and park facilities

The role involves physical tasks including lifting linen, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods

Work may involve both indoor and outdoor areas across the park

Fast-paced environment during guest changeover days
