Overview
Parcelforce Warehouse Sorter role at Parcelforce Worldwide. Location: Worcester, Unit 5 Shipston Close Cranham Industrial Estate Worcester WR4 9XN. Contract Type: Permanent. Working hours: Full-time 38 hours per week with overtime; Monday–Friday 23:30 – 07:18.
Salary and Benefits
* Starting salary £24,210 (£12.21 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) after 6 months probation.
* Plus an additional supplement of £842 per annum pro rata, nightshift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full-time week).
* Total package circa £30,000 per annum, based on a 38 hour week with overtime.

* Night allowance of £102 per week
* Sunday premium extra £3.45 per hour for contracted hours worked on a Saturday after 06:00 and Sunday 00:01 – 23:59

Responsibilities
* Load and unload vehicles; scanning and labelling parcels quickly and efficiently, making sure every single package leaves our processing centre on time and in perfect condition.
Requirements
* Full manual driving licence (Cat B) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (in your current address).
* Ideally a clean licence but it should not have more than 6 penalty points; you will be required to show your licence at your assessment.
About You
* Positive and practical, with a hands-on approach.
* Good attention to detail; ability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg (about 30 litres of water).
