Capita are seeking a Graduate with some pensions experience to join our Actuarial Investment Technical Centre and start a career as an Actuary. Job title: Graduate Actuarial Analyst Job Description: What you will do: Calculations for actuarial valuations or other funding exercises Specify scope of work and determine data requirements Specify data and information required for projects and liaise with suppliers of that information Interrogation of data and pension scheme documents Calculations for pension scheme accounting (FRS,IAS/US GAAP) Specification of bases for individual and scheme funding calculations Programming and running of actuarial valuation systems Any other core routine tasks that are allocated to the ATC Designing and running spreadsheet calculations Drafting report, letters, memoranda and presentations All of the above require data to checked/analysed/manipulated. Extensive use of actuarial valuation software will also form a large part of the role.
