We’re seeking an Aerospace Plater to deliver precision finishes to aerospace components. The successful candidate will carry out electroplating to set specifications, using software-controlled rectifiers and plating baths. Strong accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail are essential to ensure high-quality finishes that meet both customer and industry standards
In the Aerospace Plater role, you will be:
* Operating plating equipment and following work instructions
* Monitoring baths, rectifiers and process settings
* Recording data and reporting any issues promptly
* Ensuring quality standards and safe working practices
* Supporting bath maintenance and keeping the work area organised
To be considered for the Aerospace Plater role, you will need:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Confidence working with technical instructions and data
* Ability to use software and digital systems
* Awareness of Health & Safety and safe chemical handling
* Reliability, flexibility, and a hands-on approach
This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate upon successful completion of the training period. The role involves working Monday to Friday, from 14:00 to 22:00. The initial rate of pay is £12.21 per hour + holiday pay. After a 3-month training/probation period, a shift premium will be applied, increasing the hourly rate to £14.65 per hour.
