Bell Cornwall Recruitment is excited to be supporting a long term client of ours as they seek a new Credit Controller for their accountancy team in Birmingham. This person will need to have excellent customer service skills, a great telephone manner and an ability to build constructive rapport with customers.
The Role:
Communicating with customers to ensure payments are made
Being organised and scheduling catch ups with any customers who are typically slow to pay
Reporting on the state of the debtor book, and escalating any high risk and large debts to managers
Communicating and setting up payment plans for customers unable to pay in fullThe Ideal Credit Controller will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in credit control or debt collection highly desirable
Strong numerical skills and a degree of financial literacy
Strong attention to detail, able to spot anomalies and raising issues
