The job holder will be responsible for the development, delivery, and management of programs aimed at predominantly future and junior lawyers and business services professionals. This is a hands-on delivery role.
Accountabilities
* Delivering and developing learning interventions and programmes within the current learning framework and Future Lawyers Induction programs, in line with firm and Learning and Development (L&D) strategy. Liaising with stakeholders to ensure learning needs are met.
* Managing the professional qualification requirements for future lawyers in conjunction with Early Careers and Head of L&D.
* Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skills and development opportunities, working with external consultants, internal SMEs, and delivering some aspects of the programme.
* Designing formal and informal learning interventions with materials such as handouts, exercises, and trainer notes.
* Contributing to quality assurance of electronic learning materials.
* Ensuring the learning environment and resources support learner needs.
* Preparing the learning environment and resources, including setting up IT equipment where appropriate.
* Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes and learning outcomes.
* Keeping accurate records of training delivered to support data management by the L&D Administrator.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills, utilizing internal and external resources, and requesting training as necessary.
The candidate
* CIPD or equivalent recognized training qualification (e.g., CIPD/TAP).
* Demonstrable knowledge of TNA and ROI of learning interventions.
* Experience as a skills trainer, preferably within a professional services environment.
* Advanced knowledge of L&D best practices and creating accessible learning interventions.
* Strong coaching and training delivery skills.
* Understanding of Learning & Development and the Training Cycle.
* Interpersonal effectiveness.
* Experience working with SMEs and external consultants.
