The Post We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Support Officer to join our emerging Active Wellbeing team. This new role will play a key part in delivering Brent’s Strategic Outcomes Planning Model (SOPM) - our programme to pivot from a leisure-based offer to one that embeds Active Wellbeing across the council and the borough. You will: Provide project and coordination support for the rapid procurement of the leisure contract, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to governance requirements. Support the planning and delivery of projects and workstreams within SOPM, contributing to reports, strategies, consultations and evaluations. Work across multi-disciplinary teams and with external partners to drive system change and deliver Brent’s vision for prevention and reducing health inequalities. Prepare reports, presentations and communications for programme boards and stakeholders. Help design and deliver engagement activities with citizens and the voluntary and community sector. The Person We are looking for someone who is: An excellent communicator, able to influence and engage people at all levels. Organised and detail-focused, with experience of managing projects and tracking progress. Confident working with data and digital tools, including Power BI, to support decision-making. Politically aware, with the ability to work in a complex, fast-moving environment. Passionate about making a difference for residents through prevention, transformation and active wellbeing. You will have demonstrable project management experience (Prince2, Agile or equivalent) and a track record of supporting delivery in a large, complex organisation.
