Job Opportunity: Senior Paediatric Nurse
We are looking for a Senior Paediatric Nurse to join a well-established rehabilitation service in Surrey, providing specialist care for children and young people with complex health needs.
Based within one of the on-site houses, the Senior Paediatric Nurse is responsible for delivering hands-on clinical care and supporting the House Manager with daily team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver and oversee complex care (e.g., tracheostomy, gastrostomy, ventilation)
2. Support clinical supervision, appraisals, and rota management
3. Act as a key liaison for families and external professionals
4. Coordinate care to ensure access to education, therapy, and activities
5. Maintain accurate, NMC-compliant clinical records
Requirements:
1. NMC Registered Nurse (Children's or Learning Disabilities preferred)
2. Experience in paediatric complex care or SEND settings
3. Confident in leading shifts and mentoring care teams
4. Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills
5. Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care
