A leading boutique family law firm is looking to appoint a Family Paralegal in Bournemouth to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Paralegal in Bournemouth to work within a Legal 500-recognised practice, supporting experienced solicitors on high-quality, privately funded matters.
You will join a specialist firm known for its compassionate, client-first approach and strong track record of developing paralegals into qualified lawyers. As a Family Paralegal within this specialist department, you will gain hands-on exposure to complex family law work and a clear pathway for progression.
Candidates with both private and public law experience will be considered for this role.
The Role:
* Supporting solicitors on divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
* Assisting with file management from instruction through to conclusion
* Drafting legal documents, applications and correspondence
* Preparing court bundles and trial documentation
* Liaising with clients, courts, counsel and third parties
* Conducting legal research and assisting on complex cases
* Providing administrative and case support across the team
* Delivering a high standard of client care
The Candidate:
* Paralegal with experience in family law (public / private)
* Some exposure to privately funded family matters would be an advantage
* Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
* Excellent organisation and time management
* Confident communicator with strong client care skills
* Keen to progress and build a long-term career in family law
* Proactive and able to work independently and in a team
* Professional, empathetic and client-focused
