About the Role
The HSEQ Lead is a permanent and full-time position. Working within our busy UK QHSE Team, this role will assist and support the Regional QHSE Manager in all quality, health, safety and environmental activities associated with the implementation and maintenance of the IMS and related systems and documentation.
Base Location
This role is based in our Aberdeen city centre office with excellent transport links.
Working Pattern
Mon – Fri office based with flexibility for 1 day remote.
Main Responsibilities
* Support compliance & Management systems
* Support establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of management system processes
* Report non-compliance issues or areas for improvement
* Coordinate HSE requirements ensuring full regulatory and legal compliance
* Oversee vessel audits and certification requirements
* Arranges, conducts and reports on internal vessel audits
* Ensure vessels maintain valid certifications
* Coordinate with Flag States on vessel audits ensuring regulatory compliance
* Incident and Emergency Response duties
* Close out of assigned incident report and findings
* Serve as member of Accident Investigation team
* Participates in QHSE on call rota
* Assist with Performance Monitoring & Reporting
* Assist in preparation of monthly HSE statistics
* Monitor vessel safety, quality & security standards
Qualifications
* NEBOSH certification would be advantageous
* A Lead Auditor qualification or detailed knowledge of ISM regulations is required
* Min 2 years experience in a QHSE or operational environment preferred
* Ability to prioritize tasks, perform detailed execution of tasks and adapt to a changing environment
