A unique role is now available for a strong, business winning Lettings Business Development Manager to join a leading independent estate agent at their office in Weston-super-Mare. My clients are looking for a diligent, hardworking candidate who loves the new business side of property and thrives in an out and about role.

Lettings Business Development Manager – Benefits

* £30,000 basic salary
* £35,000 OTE (uncapped)
* Monday - Friday only
* 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
* Funding for further qualifications
* Rewards scheme

Lettings Business Development Manager – Duties

* To create and arrange market appraisals, identifying client needs and aligning them with suitable service levels
* Have a deep understanding of our services and products, seeking cross-selling opportunities
* Negotiate contracts and fees, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained before property marketing
* Building long-lasting relationships with landlords and property investors
* Managing offers, negotiations, and tenancy queries with professionalism
* Leading day-to-day operations and supporting overall branch performance
* Implementing new ideas and spotting opportunities to grow the portfolio
* Recruiting, training, and mentoring team members as the business expands
* Ensuring all processes meet current lettings legislation and standards
* Hitting key performance indicators and annual business targets

Lettings Business Development Manager – Experience Needed

* A minimum of 12 months experience in valuations and winning new business
* Up to date knowledge of current lettings legislation
* Excellent time management and organisational skills. Strong administrative skills with an attention to detail
* Confidence in dealing with a variety of people both in face, over the phone and in person
* Able to work as part of a team and alone
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Articulate, professional and well accustomed to a client facing role.
* ARLA qualified or willing to work towards an ARLA qualification.
* Experience of working in a fast paced, busy environment
* A positive and adaptive attitude to help the team achieve their goals
* Pro-active and a desire to achieve results
* Full driving licence required
