Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Relations Executive to join our team. The primary responsibility is to nurture and maintain relationships with our existing network of merchants who stock our products. This role offers opportunities for career development, with potential progression into a senior sales position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to ensure business growth and customer satisfaction.
* Engage regularly with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and support them.
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams for seamless communication and service.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
* Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitors.
* Prepare reports on client activity, sales, and market insights for management.
Skills and Capabilities:
* Proven experience in customer relationship management, preferably in timber or building materials.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust.
* Results-oriented with a focus on sales targets and growth.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and in a team.
* Willing to travel within the South Midlands/Wales region.
* Full UK driving license.
