Harmonic are delighted to be working on a basis alongside an extremely exciting, fast growth Architecture Practice, in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their team. The Business:
Our client are an highly respected and established, UK-based architectural practice with over 30 years' experience, delivering first class work nationwide. With headcount at circa 100, their offering includes integrated services across architecture, master planning, interiors and retrofit, with a high degree of emphasis placed on sustainability. The practice has a strong commercial footing, with annual turnover at circa £10 million, and is recognised for its commitment to design quality, collaboration and responsible practice, including formal sustainability and social impact accreditation.
The Role:
Reporting into a Finance Manager, this is a newly created role highlighting an exciting period of growth for the business. As a 2 person finance team, there will be some great opportunities for growth and development, as well as direct autonomy and ownership of your work. Working across the purchase and sales ledger, this is a broad role with exposure to month end and the management accounts also available.
Duties:
Input into sales and purchase ledgers
Prepare and process monthly sales invoices from practice management system
Record all payments and receipts
Support finance manager with preparing month end
Support on the production of the management accounts
Prepare remittance advice for ad-hoc payments
All company credit card transactions
Processing all company expenses
Admin support for business
What we'd like to see (essential):
High level of curiosity and ambition to grow within finance
Good communication skills and initiative
What we'd like to see (bonus):
Experience using xero
Salary: up to £30k + study support + great industry benefits
Location: Central Manchester (hybrid – 50% in office / WFH)
