Lift Service/minor repair Engineer – Dorset / Hampshire Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience) We are recruiting for an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing lift engineering business covering the Dorset and Hampshire region. This role offers a structured workload, a defined regional patch, and clear earning potential. The Role Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, and small repairs on passenger and goods lifts Attending breakdowns and carrying out fault finding across multiple manufacturers and control systems Ensuring all work is completed in line with current industry standards and safety regulations Managing your own service route efficiently Delivering a high standard of customer service on-site Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (essential) Proven experience in lift servicing and maintenance Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability Good working knowledge of LOLER and BS EN standards Full UK driving licence Reliable, professional, and able to work independently Able to provide references Package & Benefits Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience) Annual pay review in line with inflation Company vehicle Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 Call-Out & Overtime 1 in 4 call-out rota Standby payment: £300 per week Door-to-door pay on call-outs Overtime paid at enhanced rates Additional Benefits £2,000 bonus payable upon successful completion of probation (subject to terms and conditions) What to Expect A no-nonsense working environment — realistic routes, proper support, and engineers given the time and tools to do the job correctly.
