About Our Client
This growing company are based in Eynsham near Witney, looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join their team. You will be seen as a senior person in the Finance team, supporting the CEO with strategic decision making. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis across the business.
Job Description
Finance Analyst responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decisions.
* Assist with budgeting, including P&L, cashflow forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Automate budgeting and reporting processes.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on actual vs forecast.
* Prepare monthly management accounts and performance analysis.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial workflows.
* Monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
* A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Query), with working knowledge of BI/reporting tools preferred.
* Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
* Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is highly preferred due to regular interaction with international colleagues.
