We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Rainham on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately.
If you’ve got experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and love helping children reach their potential, this could be the perfect next step for you.
✨ What you’ll be doing:
1. Support: Provide caring 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEND needs, helping them engage and feel confident in class.
2. Assist: Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored learning plans and ensure every child gets the right support at the right time.
3. Encourage: Use your positivity and patience to motivate children and celebrate every small success.
4. Guide: De-escalate challenging behaviour calmly and confidently, creating a safe, structured environment.
5. Connect: Build strong relationships with teachers, parents, and professionals to share progress and celebrate growth.
6. Nurture: Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
What you’ll need:

8. A valid DBS or willingness to apply for one
9. Experience working with children or young people with SEND
10. Understanding of different learning styles and strategies
