Teaching Assistant – Ammanford – Immediate Start – £14.24 per hour

The Primary School believe that all their pupils need to feel loved, cared for and supported in order to thrive in their learning and they deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that is designed to meet the needs of all their learners. They place a strong emphasis on developing their pupils social, emotional and moral skills and provide them with opportunities to learn about these skills through the curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Responsibilities
* Support in the classroom and ensure that children participate in activities, providing additional help on a one-to-one basis as required.
* Be flexible with start and finish times around 08:30am – 15:30pm and maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
Qualifications
* TA qualification or at least 6 months experience working within a classroom setting
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A good ability to create valued relationships with pupils
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Welsh speaking preferred (not essential)
