Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A back ground in tyre maintenance is essential, We are looking for a candidate who can help out with mechanical repair on the vehicles and trailers when tyres are quiet
Responsibilities
* Inspect and assess tyre condition for wear and damage
* Remove and replace tyres on vehicles, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed
* Repair punctures and other tyre issues as necessary
* Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the workshop
* limited mechanical knowledge
* Call outs and breakdowns on a Rota
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Tyre technician or in a similar role is preferred
* Valid driving license;
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and equipment effectively
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
