Geophysicist

Location: Cardiff
Salary: £27,000 to £32,000
This is an excellent opportunity for a geophysicist seeking the next step in their career within a well-established geophysical surveying company. You will receive support from a team of geoscientists with over 30 years of industry experience and have opportunities for career progression.
The Geophysicist will be responsible for:
1. Risk assessment and site safety
2. Soil and core logging
3. Site preparation and project management
4. Mentoring staff and developing reporting skills
The successful candidate will be offered: a competitive salary (£27,000 - £32,000), company vehicle, enhanced pension scheme, private healthcare, and flexible working arrangements.
Requirements include:
* Relevant experience in geology, archaeology, or geophysics with good site work knowledge
* A degree in geology, civil engineering, geophysics, archaeology, geoscience, or a related field
* A full UK driving license
* Willingness to travel and live within commuting distance to Cardiff, with the ability to travel around South Wales
* Right to work in the UK
