This is a key role responsible for developing, mobilising and enforcing the asset management strategy across the contract, ensuring full compliance with contractual, statutory and legislative requirements while supporting the delivery of a safe, efficient and high-quality estates service.As Asset Manager, you will be the technical authority for asset management, planned maintenance and lifecycle planning on site. You will ensure that all assets are accurately captured, maintained and reported through the management information system, while providing expert technical advice to the wider business.What you'll do:Develop, mobilise, implement and continuously improve the Asset Management Strategy for the contract in line with Sodexo frameworks, contractual obligations and legislative requirementsAct as the subject matter expert for asset management, planned maintenance and lifecycle planning across Merville BarracksProduce, maintain and govern a fully compliant Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme, ensuring alignment with statutory regulations, SFG20, manufacturer guidance and industry best practiceEstablish, maintain and control a detailed and accurate asset register within the Management Information System, ensuring all assets are correctly categorised, risk-rated and maintainedEnsure all assets are accurately captured using all available information, including operations and maintenance manuals, drawings, as-built records and site surveysUpdate asset data promptly following lifecycle replacement, reactive works, variations or capital projects to ensure data integrity at all timesDevelop, manage and maintain a comprehensive maintenance task library, ensuring correct task allocation against applicable asset typesEnsure maintenance tasks are scheduled efficiently in close liaison with hard services teams to minimise operational impact and meet contractual KPIsDefine and prepare all required asset management processes, procedures and policy documentation, ensuring compliance with Sodexo and client requirementsProvide technical audit capability across the contract to ensure service delivery teams adhere to statutory, contractual and internal compliance obligationsCarry out technical audits, identify non-conformances and support corrective action plans to drive continuous improvementLead on the technical input into lifecycle planning, estates maintenance strategy and long-term investment planningIdentify asset risks and performance issues, developing mitigation strategies and improvement plansPrepare, develop and present robust business cases for technical projects, lifecycle replacement and capital worksDevelop clear and compliant technical specifications, scopes of works and supporting documentation for projects, variations and pricing exercisesProvide technical support and expert advice to the wider business, including Technical Services teams, RMPA, G4 and CMT stakeholdersSupport project delivery by providing technical assurance throughout design, installation, commissioning and handover stagesCollate, control and maintain as-built records, property files, drawings and technical documentation, ensuring accurate and accessible recordsAttend and contribute to client and internal meetings to review planned maintenance programmes, lifecycle works and project progressProduce accurate and timely monthly KPI, compliance and performance reports as required by the contractDemonstrate a strong technical understanding of systems, processes and estate infrastructure across the siteParticipate in on-call rotas and escalation processes to support operational resilienceFoster a positive health, safety and compliance culture, ensuring adherence to all applicable statutory requirements and Sodexo policiesCarry out any other reasonable tasks as required to support operational and contractual objectivesWhat you bring:You will be a proactive, organised and technically competent professional, comfortable working autonomously and influencing across multiple stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levelsStrong team player with a collaborative approachFlexible and able to work under pressure in a dynamic environmentCapable of working on own initiative with minimal supervisionIT literate, with experience of Microsoft Office applicationsDesirableRelevant technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringIOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)Authorised Person status in a relevant disciplinePlease Note: Due to the festive period, applications will not be reviewed or shortlisted until 5 January 2026.What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
