Advert Cleaner Building Cleaning – Council Offices 15 hours per week Permanent £28,192 - £28,462 pro rata £14.61 - £14.75 per hour The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance. You will be reporting to the Building Cleaning Officer. Your working pattern is 3 hours per day worked 5.00pm and 8.00pm Monday to Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible. The purpose of this role is to provide front line building cleaning activities to buildings owned by Orkney Islands Council in accordance with set procedures and instructions. Duties include the use of cleaning products and powered cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners to ensure the premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. You should have a minimum of experience of cleaning duties in a home or commercial environment. Knowledge and use of cleaning equipment both manual and electrical is required.
