About Us
TECwomen CIC provides an online community, in‑person events and training opportunities for women and girls across Cornwall with a focus on technical, engineering, and creative digital skills (T.E.C). We focus on sectors where women are under‑represented in the workplace and in education. This is a global problem, with local ramifications for women and girls in Cornwall.
We have been running the award‑winning TECgirls project since 2019 and TECwomen CIC was established in June 2022. We operate in an agile environment, continuously learning and adapting to meet our mission.
About the Team & Culture
We’re a small team who work really closely together and support each other day to day. Everyone is involved in delivery in some way, and we all step in where needed to make sure things run smoothly.
It’s a busy environment and no two weeks look the same, but there’s a strong sense of teamwork, people help each other out, share the load and communicate openly. You might be coordinating a project one minute and helping prepare for an event the next, it’s very much a team effort, and everyone plays a part in making things happen.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys that kind of environment, someone who is organised and proactive, but also values being part of a supportive, down‑to‑earth team where people look out for each other.
The Role
We’re looking for a Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of multiple funded projects and programmes. This role sits at the centre of delivery, ensuring projects are planned, coordinated, tracked and delivered effectively, while also supporting the practical, hands‑on elements that make delivery possible.
This is not an admin‑only role; you’ll be just as comfortable managing timelines and data as you are getting stuck in with the practical side of delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Coordinate the delivery of multiple projects and programmes from setup through to completion
* Maintain project timelines, delivery plans and key milestones
* Ensure activities are delivered on time, to scope and to a high standard
* Identify and flag risks, delays or issues early and support resolution
Delivery Coordination & Logistics
* Coordinate resources, schedules, venues and delivery requirements
* Prepare materials, equipment and resources required for delivery
* Support the practical setup and pack‑down of events and sessions
* Assist with hands‑on delivery tasks where needed to ensure everything runs smoothly
Data, Monitoring & Reporting
* Track project outputs, outcomes and key performance indicators
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project data and trackers
* Support reporting requirements for funders and internal stakeholders
* Ensure all data and documentation is complete, accurate and audit‑ready
Stakeholder & Funder Coordination
* Support communication with funders, partners and delivery stakeholders
* Help ensure reporting deadlines and requirements are met
* Maintain clear and professional communication across all stakeholders
Project Administration & Compliance
* Maintain organised project documentation, records and evidence
* Support financial and compliance processes (e.g. collating evidence, tracking spend inputs where required)
* Ensure projects align with funding requirements and internal processes
Systems & Process Improvement
* Support the development and use of project tracking tools and systems
* Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and efficiency
What We’re Looking For (Essential)
* Experience in project coordination, programme delivery, or similar roles
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience tracking progress, data or performance against plans
* High attention to detail, particularly around data and documentation
* Confident using spreadsheets and digital systems
* Strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
* Proactive, accountable and able to work independently
* Experience working on funded projects or with external funders
* Experience supporting project reporting, compliance or claims processes
* Understanding of project delivery frameworks, tracking tools or KPIs
* Experience in hands‑on event or programme delivery environments
Who This Role Suits
Someone who:
* Is highly organised and enjoys owning the coordination of projects and making sure things actually get delivered
* Is comfortable balancing delivery, data and compliance and working across multiple projects at once
* Doesn’t mind getting stuck into the practical side of delivery
* Can manage multiple moving parts without losing oversight
