Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives, driving customer success through their cloud journey.
Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, the Delivery Consultant will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor, you’ll guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
* Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
* Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
* Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
* Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Basic Qualifications
* Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
* Migration strategy development and planning (6R framework)
* Cloud Infrastructure Assessment (CIA) methodology
* Mainframe migration and modernization techniques
* Application discovery and dependency mapping
* Migration tooling (Application Migration Service, Database Migration Service, Migration Hub)
* Cutover planning and execution
* Legacy system analysis and decommissioning
* Risk mitigation and rollback strategies
* AWS Transform
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing design and implementation
* Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale
* Experience with technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization
* Experience in configuration management using CloudFormation, Chef & Puppet
* Experience in large‑scale migration – data center to data center or data center to cloud infrastructure
