What is the opportunity?
The role of Director, FX Enterprise Sales, is responsible for the sales and distribution of FX Autoconvert globally, supporting product development of DCC, MCP, FX Digital Payments, and sales/distribution strategies. This role also manages new FX Digital Payments client acquisition and nurtures ongoing relationships to optimize product offering and client service.
What will you do?
1. Understand the FX Autoconvert offering and existing RBC GTB relationships with banks.
2. Use FX Autoconvert to partner with highly-rated existing and new bank relationships to convert outbound payments to the local currency of the beneficiary.
3. Align, partner, and collaborate with client-facing teams in Capital Markets and other lines of business on sales and distribution of Digital FX payment solutions.
4. Contribute to product development of market-leading FX payment technology targeting Financial Institutions, Public Sector/NGO, Corporate, and Retail clients globally.
5. Work with credit, legal, KYC, and compliance teams to ensure proper control and governance for FX Autoconvert and future FX digital payment solutions.
6. Produce performance metrics to track product and client performance, aiding data-driven decisions on future sales and product development.
7. Identify opportunities to introduce other RBC teams and products to FX Digital Payments clients.
8. Engage in client and stakeholder service reviews.
9. Produce marketing materials and PR to support internal and external marketing and sales of FX Autoconvert and FX digital payment solutions.
10. Proactively identify operational risks and control deficiencies.
11. Review and comply with applicable firm policies.
12. Escalate operational risk events and control deficiencies promptly to your line manager and relevant risk and control functions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Strong understanding of FX (Spot, Forwards, EM, NDFs) and FICC markets.
* Proven knowledge of digital FX payments products.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Certified Person.
Nice-to-have
* An understanding of cross-border payments globally.
