We are looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our progressive, award-winning Civil and Structural Engineering team in our Glasgow office as part of our 2026 Graduate Programme, delivering sustainable projects for our communities, planet, and society.
As a Stantec graduate, you will collaborate with your team and wider cohort, developing your expertise within an exciting and creative interdisciplinary environment. You will benefit from strong support from both office and technical colleagues, with significant guidance from senior staff within our open and collaborative culture.
This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in Structural Engineering by gaining valuable experience within an established consultancy. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver project work at concept and scheme design, modelling, detailed design, specification, and drawing stages.
* Prepare reports, and provide advice and guidance to clients and project teams.
* Undertake STEM engagement activities.
* Liaise with internal and external team members, developing relationships and people skills.
* Manage your own workload to meet project deadlines.
* Engage with the wider Civil & Structural division, the Technical Leadership Team, and the Carbon Task Force to exchange best practice and support ongoing initiatives.
* Arrange and attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute actions.
* Attend and contribute to project team meetings.
* Visit site to undertake inspections and walkovers.
* Develop commercial awareness by assisting with preparation of proposals and tenders for new work.

About You

Work Pattern
