National Account Executive – Purpose-Led Pet Brand
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)
At MKJ Ignite, we partner with some of the most exciting challenger brands in FMCG. This particular brand is transforming how people think about pet nutrition. They have delivered millions of meals, built a fiercely loyal customer base, and are committed to raising the standards in the pet category with natural, no-compromise products that focus on animal wellbeing and sustainability.
They are now seeking a National Account Executive to join their retail team and help drive growth in pet retail and convenience sectors. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their commercial career within a purpose-driven, product-focused company.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the retail team to execute in-store initiatives and foster excellent customer relationships
* Managing trackers, reports, and category data to ensure smooth operations
* Collaborating with merchandising teams and customers to ensure optimal in-store presence and displays
* Coordinating POS materials and promotional activities (e.g., FSDUs, off-shelf displays, sampling)
* Assisting in fixturisation solutions and supporting cross-functional retail projects
* Maintaining master data integrity, pricing files, and customer systems
* Supporting planning inputs, S&OP processes, and tracking trading plans
* Learning consultative selling and category management skills
Ideal candidate profile:
* 1-2 years of FMCG experience, preferably in sales or commercial support
* Curious about business, organized, eager to grow
* Proficient with data analysis, comfortable with Excel, able to multitask
* Energetic, communicative, team-oriented—ready to contribute
* Genuine interest in challenger brands and the pet industry
