NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde - Diagnostic Imaging Administrative Role
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. This is a permanent, full-time position.
The shift pattern for this role is 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide a comprehensive, confidential, efficient, high-quality, and timely secretarial and administrative service to Consultants, SpRs, radiographic, management, and nursing staff within South West Diagnostic Imaging.
2. Manage waiting lists and times, ensuring compliance with targets for radiology across GG&C, particularly within Radiology Services.
3. Offer advisory and troubleshooting support related to waiting lists, times, and rota issues within this specialist service.
4. Monitor administrative systems to ensure achievement of national and local targets, capacity to deliver activity, improve efficiency, develop and implement best practices, and generate regular reports for management regarding waiting lists.
5. Utilize advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office to manipulate data, analyze performance, and produce reports.
