About the Role:
The firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its expanding team based in York.
The Employment Solicitor will manage a varied caseload spanning the full range of Employment Law matters. They will provide clear, practical and commercially minded advice to a diverse client base, working both independently and collaboratively within a friendly, high-performing team.
Key areas of work will include:
* Redundancy processes and restructuring
* Drafting and advising on contracts of employment, policies and staff handbooks
* Employment Tribunal matters
* Discrimination and whistleblowing claims
* Settlement agreements and negotiations
* Disciplinary, grievance and performance-related issues
* Organisational reorganisations and strategic employment support
* TUPE and business transfers
