Responsibilities of a Graduate Academic Mentor:
* Provide academic mentoring to KS3 and KS4 students
* Support English, Maths, and Science lessons as a Graduate Academic Mentor
* Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions tailored to student needs
* Track progress and help develop learning strategies
* Assist teachers in preparing engaging and inclusive lesson content
* Work with pupils with diverse needs, including SEN and EAL
* Promote positive behaviour and a focused classroom atmosphere
* Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families
* Use your subject knowledge to guide and motivate learners
* Gain the confidence and skills needed for future teaching or support roles
* A 2:1 or above in a relevant subject (English, Maths, Science preferred)
* Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
* Adaptable, professional, and enthusiastic in a school setting
* Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, youth work) is desirable
* A genuine passion for education and student achievement
