An exciting opportunity has become available to work within Best Start in Life Portage service within the Family Hubs. The position is for 3 FTE (37 hours) per week working Monday to Friday and the occasional weekend.
About you
You will deliver universal and targeted groups for families to attend ensuring that we are offering high quality activities in an enabling environment both within the Family hubs and out within communities. You will also support children and their families within their home; this support is to help the family to find a nursery for their child and support within the home providing activities that families can do to support their child’s development.
You will also access Portage training. Portage is a structured support program aimed at children aged 0 to 5 years with developmental delays or additional needs. It focuses on helping children develop essential skills while empowering families to actively participate in their child’s learning and play.
