Virax Biolabs Group Limited is an innovative biotechnology company focused on immune-response detection and viral disease diagnostics. The company is developing T cell–based immunology profiling technologies and expanding its research-use-only product portfolio under the ImmuneSelect brand, including peptide pools, ELISpot kits, recombinant antibodies, and custom immunology services.
We are looking for a highly motivated, adaptable Content & Communications Associate to join our Marketing team. This role is suited to a scientifically curious graduate or early-career PhD who enjoys working across technical writing, digital content, and visual communications. Working closely with laboratory and commercial teams, you will translate internal experimental data and technologies into clear, accurate technical content that supports the scientific and commercial positioning of Virax Biolabs.
Responsibilities
Technical and Scientific Writing
Collaborate with our research team to draft and co-author technical papers, application notes, and scientific content based on internal experimental data.
Translate laboratory workflows and results into clear, structured technical narratives.
Support development of accurate content promoting T cell profiling technologies and RUO products.
Scientific Content and Communications
Produce scientifically accurate website, blog, and social media content.
Contribute to technical brochures, leaflets, and conference materials.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of scientific messaging across all channels.
Website and Digital Support
Perform routine website updates and suggest content improvements.
Liaise with developers on minor updates and ensure published material remains current and accurate.
What We Are Looking For
Education and Scientific Interest
Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology or related discipline. A PhD or research-based MSc advantageous but not required.
Comfortable reading scientific literature and interpreting experimental data.
Broad scientific curiosity with the ability to rapidly understand new biological fields and experimental approaches (e.g., immunology, cell biology, recombinant antibody technologies, flow cytometry, proteomics, microscopy).
Writing and Communication
Strong scientific writing skills with high attention to accuracy.
Ability to distil complex data into clear content for varied audiences.
Confident interacting with both scientific and commercial teams.
Working Style
Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfortable working from evolving briefs and producing structured drafts independently.
Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
