Amazon is looking for a motivated and experienced Financial Analyst I to make a substantial impact in the dynamic world of Global Accounts Payable.

We are looking for candidates who have 6+ years of prior experience in Vendor Management, Vendor Communication, and Dispute Resolution related to the Accounts Payable process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Root Cause Identification & Problem Resolution: Analyze issues within the supply chain or Amazon’s internal systems, lead initiatives to resolve them, conduct follow-up actions, communicate opportunities for improvement, and create action plans.
2. Supplier Trend Analysis: Identify and analyze key supplier trends to govern mediation requirements, ensuring effective resolution of disputes.
3. Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon’s top suppliers, fostering strong business relationships, building mutual trust, and resolving conflicts to prevent shipment holds or disruptions in operations.
4. Vendor Health Scorecard & Account Management: Prepare and manage vendor health scorecards, conduct regular reviews, and proactively address accounts at risk of delivery holds or disruptions by working on account balances.
5. Vendor Support: Address vendor inquiries and concerns, ensuring they are well-equipped with knowledge of Amazon’s tools and processes.
6. Operational Performance Analysis: Analyze key operational metrics and present data to both vendors and internal teams, ensuring alignment on performance goals and continuous improvement.
7. Attention to Detail & Problem Resolution: Work independently with a keen eye for detail, quickly identifying and resolving discrepancies, variances, and failures with high accuracy.
8. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Partner with Retail and Finance teams to align priorities, business decisions, objectives, and communication strategies for vendor accounts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of finance experience
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse, and SQL
