An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Inclusion Service Support Team, in the Education Inclusion Service. This team is responsible for delivering a range of business support functions within the Inclusion Service. This vacancy is a temporary contract to cover a maternity leave.
The Education Inclusion Service comprises a range of services responsible for improving outcomes for children and young people with additional learning needs (ALN). The service works with schools and other education settings to support the identification, assessment and support for learners with ALN.
About the job
In this role, you will be responsible for collating and preparing case information for local authority panels, managing statutory correspondence, and ensuring the effective filing and organization of information. You will support Inclusion Leaders by overseeing the management, recording, and tracking of referrals. Additionally, your responsibilities will include providing administrative support for team meetings, stakeholder meetings, task and finish groups, and project groups, as well as taking and distributing accurate and timely minutes for these meetings to ensure effective communication and follow-up.

We are looking for a highly organised, ‘can do’ individual with excellent interpersonal skills, and experience working under pressure and to strict deadlines. You will need to work effectively as part of a team and be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the service.
